Cupping has been practiced in China for thousands of years for the treatment of illnesses and pain.

This is a form of needle-less acupuncture that focuses on the movement of blood, energy - qi - and fluids such as lymph, which circulates around the body's tissues. Oriental medicine states that pain is a result of the stagnation of these systems and that the stagnation can be due to injuries and stress.
